You can download all articles focussed on boardriding performance found in this website as PDF files.  Currently there are six articles available for download.  These articles focus on snowboarding performance, tech. based performance assessment, and the community’s perception of these ideas.  Find em all on the ARTICLES page.  Two of these artciles deal directly with the development of innovative terchnology and computer software that allows the automatic calculation of air-time and degree of rotation associated with half-pipe snowboarding.  There is a groundbreaking article focused on the actual integration of this technology into elite-level half-pipe snowboarding, detailing a concept competition (AIS Micro-Tech Pipe Challenge) and the capcity of technology to objectively assess performance.   Additionally there are three articles that focus specifically on the potential sociological impact of integrating novel technological concepts into the elite-level snowboard competition arena, allowing the snowboard community to voice their opion on the concept.
